We have a great range of "littlies" clothing. We stock sizes for children from 2/3 years upwards. Poivre Blanc specialises in offering 'adult stuff' in kids sizes, as does SOS and Cross- just a couple of our favourites! We even have some awesome 1 piece suits by Phenix which have a unique fitting system which makes it possible for the SAME SUIT to fit kids from 2-6yrs old!

We also have snow boots for rent @ $15 per pair per day - excellent for kids playing about in the snow, especially if you also want to rent one of our toboggans for a bit of family fun!

Our retail store also sells kids harnesses and "Edgie-Wedgies" which we recommend for kids around the 3 years old mark who are learning to ski or just need a bit of help keeping their pizza pointed in the front!

Kids Rental & Family Rates

We rent and retail equipment for children aged 3/4 years and older. We also offer families a special rate of 15% off on the cost of their rental equipment (minimum 1 adult and 1 child).

Kids Equipment Buy Back Scheme

Now here's a good idea.......

If you purchase children’s skis and/or boots from us, we offer to buy the equipment back from you at up to 40% of its original value (depending on condition) when the kids grow and you purchase their next set of equipment from us. Talk to the retail shop team for more information.

Kids Equipment Packages

We try to make things as easy and cost effective for you as we can, so we have put together some retail packages (limited availability) of Fischer skis and bindings. The packages come in two lengths so that they are suitable for children of different ages and sizes. Talk to Haggis in the Queenstown retail store for more information and availability.

CHILDRENS SKI SCHOOL

QUEENSTOWN FIELDS -

Snowboard the minimum age is 8 years. Children up to and including 10 years old SKI FOR FREE AT THE REMARKABLES.

Group Lesson 7 - 17yrs (Youth) $45 2 hours    
    Half Day Full Day Includes:
Mini Kids 3mths - 23mths $65 / $55 (CP/R) $85 / $75  
Kiwi Kids 2 - 5 yrs $65 / $55 $95 / $85  lunch, non skiing

CARDRONA - Ski group lessons are available for 5 year olds upwards, and snowboard lessons from 8yrs. Kids 6yrs and under ski for free. Child age is 6-17yrs inclusive.

Nursery/Pre Sch. 3mths - 4 yrs n/a $84 non skiing

Probably the most comprehensive kids facilities in the area offering 4 different Kids Centres.

Bookings are recommended on (03) 443 9806 and ESSENTIAL for The Nursery and childcare facilities. You can complete a booking form online at their website which is pretty handy too.

TREBLE CONE - Lower Mountain Lift pass (Platter & Magic Carpet) is free for everyone!  Children’s ski school is for kids as young as 3 and up to 15 yrs.  Min age for snowboard lessons is 6 yeras.  Teenagers are able to go into adult group lessons if they perfer.

OZONE TUBING PARK

At the Remarkables (only), and operating from noon until 3pm, the purpose built tubing lanes are great family fun. $20 or $25 with snowboots per hour.
